Packing & Preparing
We have two French hair dryers, one in the bathroom upstairs, one
in the downstairs bath. The rule is this... they are yours for your
one of them goes on the fritz, please replace it with a new one! You
may be able to find one at the Ecomarché at the entry to the town,
All our linens are WHITE, so please bring your own face cloths for
makeup removal or hair coloring… thanks for understanding.
In the upstairs bathroom you will find a collection of ‘essentials’ in
case you forget something… (fresh) toothbrushes, shampoos, earplugs,
sleep masks, melatonin, basic first aid like aspirin, band-aids, a thermometer, etc.
We also have US-French plug adapters
and a 110>220 transformer.
We typically use our ATM card and pull money out of our account
when we need it. We do NOT recommend travelers' checks. Strangely,
accept them. Credit cards are widely accepted here, though not everywhere. We "live" on our frequent flyer credit cards
(and pay them off monthly) so that we can travel free. Even the tollbooths
most of the autoroutes accept credit cards!
